Integrable Hybrid Laser - Galvo Laser engraving machine by Gravotech, available from SOFRAY EMS in Dubai UAE

OVERVIEW

The Gravotech Integrable Hybrid Laser uses DPSS (Diode Pump Solid State) technology to deliver a unique combination of versatility and power. Available in H10 (10W) and H20 (20W) models, the hybrid laser features an 8 ns pulse duration — 10 times shorter than standard fiber lasers — generating peak power of up to 60 kW. This means significantly more energy per shot compared to standard fiber lasers of similar average power.

The monobloc design is a key engineering advantage: with no sensitive cable connections between the laser head and control unit, the hybrid laser is easier to integrate and more reliable in industrial environments. It operates at temperatures up to 40°C with a built-in washable filter for air cooling and protection against scratches and deposits.

What truly distinguishes the hybrid laser is its ability to manage cylindrical surfaces, angled planes, and multi-level surfaces without moving the marking head. It can mix curved surfaces and angled planes at different heights with up to 120 mm (4.72 inches) amplitude, enabling instantaneous marking on complex parts in a single operation.

Scan speed reaches 10,000 mm/s with marking areas from 65 x 65 mm to 205 x 205 mm depending on lens selection. Communication interfaces include Ethernet TCP/IP, terminal block 8I/8O, RS232, USB, with Profinet or Ethernet IP fieldbus options. An integrated HMI display provides self-diagnostic, software updates, fault history, and maintenance tracking. The system marks all metals (hard to soft) and all plastics (delicate to industrial).

KEY FEATURES

High-Speed Galvo Scanning

Galvanometer-driven mirrors steer the laser beam at speeds exceeding 7,000 mm/s — dramatically faster than gantry-based systems.

Hybrid (Fiber + CO2) Source

Hybrid (Fiber + CO2) technology delivers maintenance-free operation with 100,000+ hour expected lifetime — no consumable tubes or gases.

Permanent Marking

Creates marks that are physically part of the material surface — resistant to chemicals, abrasion, heat, and UV exposure.

Flexible Work Area

65 x 65 mm to 205 x 205 mm marking field configurable with different focal length lenses to optimize for your specific part size and detail requirements.

Industry 4.0 Ready

Full PLC / Fieldbus, Industry 4.0 connectivity for seamless integration into automated production lines, robot cells, and factory networks.

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY

Stainless Steel

High-contrast annealing marks, deep engraving, and black/white marking for industrial traceability.

Aluminum

Clear marking on bare, anodized, and painted aluminum surfaces. Anodized aluminum produces high-contrast white marks.

Hardened Steel & Tool Steel

Permanent marking on heat-treated components without affecting surface hardness or integrity.

Engineering Plastics

Marking on ABS, polycarbonate, nylon, PEEK, and other technical polymers used in automotive and electronics.

Wood & Paper

Detailed engraving on wood, cardboard, and paper products for packaging and decorative applications.

Glass & Ceramics

Surface marking and frosting on glass, ceramic, and stone materials.

Organic Materials

Leather, fabric, rubber, and natural materials respond well to CO2 laser energy.

APPLICATIONS

Industrial Traceability

Mark serial numbers, DataMatrix codes, and production data on components for full lifecycle traceability in manufacturing and assembly.
