OVERVIEW

The MOPA Series boosts industrial marking performance with unmatched versatility and contrast. Adjustable pulse duration enables color marks on stainless steel and fine engravings on anodized aluminum.

The Gravotech MOPA Series represents the next generation of galvo laser marking technology, delivering exceptional mark quality at production-ready speeds. Using MOPA Fiber technology with power options from 20W - 60W, the MOPA Series produces permanent, high-contrast marks on metals and plastics with micron-level precision. The galvo scanning system steers the laser beam without moving the workpiece, enabling marking speeds that mechanical methods simply cannot match.

Whether you need to mark serial numbers for traceability, engrave logos for branding, or produce complex 2D codes for supply chain management, the MOPA Series handles it all with consistent quality across production volumes from single units to thousands of parts per hour. Color marking on steel, high contrast on plastics. Compatible with Gravotech's LaserTrace and LaserStyle software, the MOPA Series integrates into both standalone and networked production environments. SOFRAY EMS provides the complete package: machine supply, installation, operator training, and ongoing maintenance support across the entire GCC region.

KEY FEATURES

High-Speed Galvo Scanning

Galvanometer-driven mirrors steer the laser beam at speeds exceeding 7,000 mm/s — dramatically faster than gantry-based systems.

MOPA Fiber Source

MOPA Fiber technology delivers maintenance-free operation with 100,000+ hour expected lifetime — no consumable tubes or gases.

Permanent Marking

Creates marks that are physically part of the material surface — resistant to chemicals, abrasion, heat, and UV exposure.

Advanced Capabilities

Color marking on steel, high contrast on plastics

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY

Stainless Steel

High-contrast annealing marks, deep engraving, and black/white marking for industrial traceability.

Aluminum

Clear marking on bare, anodized, and painted aluminum surfaces. Anodized aluminum produces high-contrast white marks.

Hardened Steel & Tool Steel

Permanent marking on heat-treated components without affecting surface hardness or integrity.

Engineering Plastics

Marking on ABS, polycarbonate, nylon, PEEK, and other technical polymers used in automotive and electronics.

APPLICATIONS

Luxury Retail Personalization

Engrave names, dates, and messages on perfume bottles, leather goods, jewelry, and premium accessories for an unforgettable customer experience.

Jewelry Engraving

Inside ring engraving, pendant personalization, hallmarking, and decorative pattern work on precious metals and gemstone settings.

Industrial Traceability

Mark serial numbers, DataMatrix codes, and production data on components for full lifecycle traceability in manufacturing and assembly.

Medical Device Marking

UDI-compliant marking on surgical instruments, implants, and medical devices meeting FDA 21 CFR and EU MDR requirements.
